Screven County Spay & Neuter Adoption Application

This is only the first stage of the adoption process. SCSN does not "hold pets" or adopt out on a “First Come, First Serve” basis, but does adopt to the best matching family or individual for the pet.

The decision is made by SCSN and the adoptee is notified. If the decision is “yes” an appointment for the new owner to meet and pick up the animal is arranged. There is an Adoption Contract to be filled out and an Adoption Fee to be paid before the Adoptee can leave with the Animal. Calling and emailing the rescue prior to or after filling out the application will not get you a response quicker. We sort through hundreds of applications for available pets and you will be notified if your application is approved.
